On a simple white background, a little bird is drawn in blue, flapping its wings with all its might. This is a drawing of the plover, which has long been a standard motif for blue and white pottery, with a touch unique to Mr. Tanabe. It is a motif that is also popular as "wave plover" combined with waves, but Mr. Tabe draws trees around it. It's "forest plover" instead of "wave plover".

The width is approximately 13.5cm. It is a size that does not take up space on the dining table.
