She makes pottery with the theme of "Family tableware" in Kanagawa Prefecture. Her designs are friendly and approachable, and she creates fun tableware to use with children. For KIGOCOCHI, we have selected her works with animal motifs. She is a potter who I would like children to choose for their first pottery.

Happy snack time

An animal relaxing on the edge of a plate. She says that the image is "a wooden puzzle animal". The face is intentionally expressionless so that it looks like a real puzzle. Aiming to be cute with only a silhouette.

It's also nice that it's shaped softly by making use of the distortion to match the atmosphere of the animal. It is a plate that can be enjoyed as a snack for children (of course, adults too!). By the way, at Mr. Tanabe's house, it appears every morning as a plate for her son's breakfast.

A whale with a relaxed expression. Only this part is expressed by not applying glaze.

It is a 6 inch plate with a diameter of about 15 cm. A perfect size for serving snacks.

The flat design makes it difficult for children to turn over.
