A masterpiece born from failure. Rippohiki

Rippohiki, with its impressive crack pattern, is one of Mr. Ohara's masterpieces. In the pottery world, it is produced by incorporating “crazing of potting clay” as a unique design. The impactful decorations not only add sharpness to the dining table, but they also go well with the food and bring out the ingredients as the leading role.

Another interesting aspect of rippobiki is that the expression changes with use over time. The water and oil content of the food will gradually become familiar with the vessel, and it will partially change to a bluish look. It can be said that the expression “growing containers” is a perfect fit .

I wanted a square plate of this size
