A husband and wife make pottery in Komono-cho, Mie Prefecture, which is close to Banko-yaki, which is famous for heat-resistant pots such as earthenware pots. By intentionally leaving the distortions created during the production process, the pottery is made with a lovely, plump appearance.
All of the bowls can be used in the microwave, which is great for everyday use.
Unpretentious goodness born from tatara molding
At Craft Ishikawa, we use a technique called "tatara molding," in which a plate of clay is pressed against a plaster mold to shape it .
By deliberately leaving the "distortion" that occurs in this process, a good "looseness" that makes the user feel warm is born.
The handle is also made flat, giving it a softer impression.
Recommended for soup lovers. Both appearance and usability ◎
It is characterized by its chubby and adorable appearance,
In fact, the usability is also finished comfortably.
The large handle is sturdy and easy to grip,
You can lift hot soup with confidence.
It is the unique comfort of Mr. Ishikawa who reflects the voice of the user in the production.
It's cute even when stacked.
