A husband and wife make pottery in Komono-cho, Mie Prefecture, which is close to Banko-yaki, which is famous for heat-resistant pots such as earthenware pots. By intentionally leaving the distortions created during the production process, the pottery is made with a lovely, plump appearance.
All of the bowls can be used in the microwave, which is great for everyday use.
cute shape, cute color
This mamezara looks really cute. A soft atmosphere is created by using a technique called "tatara molding" that makes it easy to make use of "distortion".
Another characteristic is the color. Mr. Ishikawa's unique glaze gives a neutral finish without being too bright . This also matches well with the soft and natural atmosphere.
Wide range of uses due to deep structure
Most common mamezara are shallow and flat, but this one has a slightly deeper design .
You can safely pour soy sauce into it, and it is also suitable for side dishes and side dishes that have a little bit of juice.
I can't choose. From 4 cute colors
Mr. Ishikawa has a variety of glaze expressions. All colors are hard to throw away, and they are good colors.
From left to right: charcoal, ash glaze , Irabo , candy glaze .
