Hirota Glass has been a glass manufacturer for about 120 years since its founding in 1899 (Meiji 32). It is considered one of the oldest glass makers in Tokyo.
After the war, while mass production by mechanization became mainstream, Hirota Glass has consistently continued to produce by hand.
