Hirota Glass
Hirota Glass has been a glass manufacturer for about 120 years since its founding in 1899 (Meiji 32). It is considered one of the oldest glass makers in Tokyo.
After the war, while mass production by mechanization became mainstream, Hirota Glass has consistently continued to produce by hand. What was there was the desire to create a product that appeals to people's sensibilities and has a 'warmth' that fits in the hand. Based on the design materials that have been handed down since the company's founding, we continue to create nostalgic yet modern glassware with a touch of modern essence.
Butter case in retro shades
I really wanted a butter case at home, so I've been looking for it at various stores and online. But none of them are quite right. Occasionally, even if you come across something that makes you think, "This is good!", the budget is over... Because of this, we didn't have a butter case for a long time at home, and we have been practicing the unconventional storage method of putting it in the paper bag when we purchased it.
That's when I came across this butter case from Hirota Glass. The moment I saw it, I thought, "This is it!" First of all, I really like that it's made of glass. It's hygienic because it doesn't absorb oil easily, and you can tell at a glance how much butter you have left. And above all, it's cute and fashionable! The yellowish color that makes you feel nostalgic is really nice.
Commercially available 200g butter enters
It is a size that fits 200g of commercially available butter. The lid is made of natural cherry wood. You can use it as a tray to hold butter temporarily, or you can use it as a cutting board .
Leave the lid on the cutting board. It is a comfortable blade hit.
